Fill me in with any color you want, splash some fandango or mountbatten pink. Block in my blanks with canary or munsel yellow. Dribble the avocado green, the mint, the lime, the myrtle or pistachio. Don’t you dare spare me the chartreuse, the pine or the olive drab brush strokes. Give me all you’ve got with some deep Spanish red, some cardinal some crimson some scarlet oh my. You know I’d look great with that blustery, blazed fire-brick, that barn-yard or chicken-coup shade, the one that’s gonna make me pop and shine. OR. Or you could forgo all formality and pleasantry. Leave behind the expressively overdone motifs and themes. You could paint me the color of cool with no ceremony to be found. That’s right baby, color me in black. [Ryan Nimmo] |
