Have you ever been stuck in a traffic jam in Shanghai? Erratic emotional outburst is well known to anyone who experienced TAXI drive. It’s the worst, when you get a taxi and suddenly see the view in front of you which clearly says ‘YOU ARE GOING NOWHERE! ‘Ah how the glorious metropolitan lives! Stuck for ages with no option to get out, the self-loathing grows and you try to understand what urged you to take this TAXI. "Why didn’t I walk, cycle or took a rickshaw?" The car moves every 5 seconds, only 5 cm at the time, suddenly stopping, making you irradiated and nauseous. You can see all the other TAXIS moving and you start obsessing. Oh yes! You are TAXI jealous. You are certain that your driver doesn’t know where he is going. The TAXI jealousy turns into passionate hatred. “Why are they changing lanes so often?! They are making it worse, creating chaos! Idiots!” So you hate them for moving and you despise your own driver for not doing the same. (However, when you get the driver that just slithers his way around the traffic, creating chaos and blocking everybody is ok.) Your mind takes you to the dark places of your imagination. You are making irrational plans to avenge that last half an hour you will never get back. You notice the reason for this hideous traffic. The rickshaw driver took initiative and from his vehicle started manipulating traffic. You collapse on the back seat; drained from emotions with a catatonic expression on your face you feel no more.
